About the Role

Help our construction crews get the right materials for the job. In this role, you’ll receive, identify, organize, and prepare construction materials, tools, and supplies for field projects.

Accuracy involves more than matching a label or counting boxes. You’ll learn the differences between materials, understand what crews are requesting, and know when to ask questions before an order goes out. Your work helps ensure crews arrive prepared with the supplies they need.

Experience in construction, a contractor supply yard, building materials, or a similar environment translates well to this position. We’ll train you on our specific materials, equipment, and processes.

What You’ll Do

Learn to identify construction materials, tools, and supplies and understand how they support field projects.

Review material requests and pull the correct items and quantities, clarifying anything unfamiliar or unclear.

Check incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.

Organize materials so they can be located, counted, and prepared efficiently.

Pick, pack, and stage materials for outgoing shipments.

Identify and report damaged materials, shortages, and inventory discrepancies.

Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in inventory counts.

Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment after training.

Keep storage and work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Work with the Warehouse Manager and other teams to meet project needs and deadlines.

What You Bring

High school diploma or GED.

Attention to detail and a willingness to learn construction materials and terminology.

Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities.

Dependability, follow-through, and the confidence to ask questions when something doesn’t look right.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and manage changing priorities.

Willingness to learn inventory systems and handheld scanners.

Construction or building-materials experience is preferred. Relevant backgrounds may include construction labor, contractor supply, lumber or building-material yards, equipment yards, and warehouse work involving specialized materials. Prior warehouse experience is not required.

Training Provided

Identification and handling of our construction materials.

Inventory systems, order preparation, and warehouse procedures.

Forklift training and certification within 30 days of hire.

Company-provided OSHA 10 General Industry training.

Schedule & Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite position in Williamstown, KY. Shifts may include days, evenings, or weekends, with overtime during peak periods.

The role involves prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching in a warehouse with varying temperatures, including refrigerated areas, noise, and moving equipment. Work includes lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance.

Pay

$20–$25 per hour
