Summary: The Oracle SaaS Applications & PaaS/OCI Security and Controls consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, governing, and continuously improving security, access controls, and compliance processes across Oracle Cloud environments. This role covers Oracle SaaS applications—such as Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, and CX—as well as Oracle PaaS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role will partner closely with business process owners, IT teams, Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance, and external implementation/support partners to ensure that Oracle environments are secure, appropriately controlled, audit-ready, and aligned with business requirements. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Oracle identity and access management, role-based security, segregation of duties (SoD), privileged access, OCI security architecture, and IT general controls. Key Responsibilities • Establish and maintain Oracle security and controls policies, standards, procedures, and evidence requirements. • Configure and govern OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM), including compartments, groups, policies, dynamic groups, federation, and service principals. • Oversee security controls for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder, Autonomous Database, Oracle Analytics Cloud, API services, OCI Object Storage, Vault, Logging, Monitoring, and related platform services. • Implement and maintain controls for encryption, key management, secrets management, certificates, network security groups, security lists, web application firewalls, and secure API/integration patterns. • Monitor OCI audit logs, security events, identity activity, and configuration changes; coordinate investigation and remediation where required. • Coordinate user access certifications and periodic control testing with process owners, Internal Audit, external auditors, and compliance teams. • Support SOX, SOC, ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI, or other relevant regulatory and corporate control requirements, as applicable. • Maintain audit-ready documentation, including role design documents, access matrices, SoD rulesets, control narratives, process flows, evidence repositories, and remediation plans. Required Skills & Experience • 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 4-7 years focused on OCI • Strong hands-on experience with OCI including compute, storage, networking, database services and OCI monitoring and management tools • Demonstrated experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) security and identity management and instance provisioning. • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion security concepts, including job roles, duty roles, privileges, data roles, security profiles, and role provisioning. • Experience supporting internal/external audit activities and control frameworks such as SOX, SOC, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, or similar. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business leaders, auditors, and executive stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of audit support, access review, compliance controls, and user access certification • Experience in 24/7 production support or on-call support environment • Certifications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
