You will work on one of the largest transformation programs in the automotive industry, supporting one of the world's leading automotive OEMs. Our projects focus on areas where engineering, product data, and vehicle software are being fundamentally transformed, ranging from the harmonization of engineering and IT landscapes to Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) and the entire automotive value chain.

These initiatives come with complex challenges. Target architectures must be aligned across brands, domains, and numerous stakeholders while remaining stable over time. Legacy systems must be replaced in a structured way while business operations continue uninterrupted. At the same time, software-centric development approaches are changing established processes and responsibilities. We ensure that architecture and implementation are aligned, decisions are well prepared, and progress remains transparent.

Together with your project team, you will take ownership of customer challenges from day one. Your progression all the way to Senior Consultant in the Automotive Practice is determined solely by your individual performance.

Your responsibilities

You will work closely with the project team and project management and quickly take ownership of your own workstreams.

Target Vision & Dependencies: Support the development of target architectures and roadmaps while creating transparency regarding dependencies across topics, teams, and systems.

Transition Management: Support the migration from legacy systems and processes into future-state target architectures, including business cases and transition planning.

Requirements & Decision Management: Maintain requirements and prioritization structures, document decisions, and keep key project artifacts up to date.

Analysis: Analyze existing system and process landscapes and develop decision papers and business cases.

Tracking & Reporting: Build progress dashboards and reporting structures and prepare management reports.

Presentation & Facilitation: Create concise decision-making materials and increasingly facilitate workshops and alignment sessions with business and IT stakeholders.

Project Management: Apply project management methodologies and structure content and interdependencies within the overall project framework.

Functional Consulting: Develop concepts and provide consulting support as a trusted sparring partner for the client.

Full‑time monthly gross salary starting at € 4.650 (including 30 vacation days) , depending on your experience and qualifications.

What makes a great fit

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a technical or IT focus, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience: At least one internship or working student position with a reputable management consultancy. Additional experience with an automotive manufacturer or supplier is an advantage.

Technical Understanding: Foundational knowledge of Systems Engineering, IT Architecture, or engineering and product data processes, gained through your specialization, thesis work, or practical experience.

Analytics & Tools: Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, combined with an interest in structured data analysis and visualization.

Good to have: Experience with Jira and Confluence, basic knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) or TOGAF, and familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe.

Languages: Excellent German and English skills (at least C1 level).*
