• Job Description Summary
• Under general supervision, this role is responsible for supporting fund accounting activities within Integrated Portfolio Services. The Fund Administration team delivers monthly net asset value (NAV) calculations, financial reporting, annual draft financial statements, and audit and tax support for clients. This position partners closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of fund accounting and reporting services.

Key Responsibilities

• •Review monthly fund and business entity closing summaries.
• •Analyze and prepare financial information for client and investor reporting.
• •Perform month-end NAV and fund accounting activities.
• •Prepare annual financial statements for funds.
• •Partner with clients and internal teams to understand fund activities and resolve issues.
• •Support annual audits and work directly with external auditors.
• •Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior team members.
• •Participate in projects and initiatives with meaningful client and business impact.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• •Prior experience in fund accounting, fund administration, alternative investments, or public accounting preferred.
• •Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• •Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• •Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus.

Salary Range:

$74,200 - 126,200 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
