We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Mental Health to join our NHS client in Hove, Sussex. This is a full-time locum opportunity offering a dynamic role within a supportive and multidisciplinary team.

• Key Responsibilities
• •Provide expert psychiatric care to adults with complex mental health needs in both inpatient and community settings
• •Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
• •Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, ward rounds, and case conferences
• •Ensure legal compliance with the Mental Health Act, including responsibilities under Section 12 approval
• •Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and supervision of junior medical staff

• Qualifications & Experience
• •Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• •Inclusion on the Specialist Register for General Adult Psychiatry (or within 6 months of CCT)
• •Section 12 approval under the Mental Health Act
• •Significant experience in adult psychiatry, ideally in both inpatient and CMHT settings
• •Excellent leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
