Continuous Improvement Manager

We’re seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to help advance organizational excellence across our Finance organization by leveraging the principles of the Robinson Operating Model (ROM). In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives through a disciplined continuous improvement framework, partnering with stakeholders at all levels to remove friction, strengthen operational performance, and create smarter, more efficient ways of working. You’ll bring Lean or Six Sigma expertise, strong change management capabilities, and proven success leading multiple cross-functional initiatives as we raise the bar and keep the world moving forward, every shipment, every challenge, every day.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

Identify and remove waste, friction, and frustration from Finance processes, creating mechanisms to proactively assess process effectiveness and efficiency

Lead Business Process Management strategic initiatives that maximize customer value, increase operational efficiency, and improve volume throughput

Support implementation of Finance operational strategy and planning in alignment with functional and enterprise priorities

Partner with Analytics teams to create and improve operational performance reporting that provides leadership and employees with visibility into performance, workload, resources, and improvement opportunities

Advance process automation and enabling technology by collaborating with technology partners and related resources to simplify work and improve outcomes

Collaborate with business partners across functions to deploy tools, processes, and resources that support successful project implementation and sustainable change

Manage relationships and communication across internal and external project resources, stakeholders, and senior leaders to keep initiatives aligned and moving forward

Build accountability and engagement by motivating project teams, clarifying ownership, and reinforcing a continuous improvement mindset

Create and deliver ongoing continuous improvement training, coaching, and development to strengthen capability across teams

Drive an analytical culture that improves decision-making and increases efficiency, quality, profitability, and customer value

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of professional experience executing large, cross functional initiatives

Minimum 3 years of experience using a continuous improvement framework within business operations such as Lean, Six Sigma or similar

Minimum 3 years of project management experience

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Lean, Six Sigma and/or related methodologies

Experience using business and data analytics to drive continuous improvement

Strong change management capabilities with emphasis on team behavior change

Excellent planning and project management skills with strong ability to effectively manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously

Thrive in an ambiguous work environment with minimal supervision and ability to make timely decisions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to the appropriate audience

Demonstrated leadership in a matrix organization, influencing without authority, conflict resolution skills, and ability to motivate and inspire team members to high performance levels

Compensation Range

$89,800.00 - $151,800.00
