Controller

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Controller based in Canada.

• As the first finance hire, you’ll have a broad mandate to establish and lead the company’s core finance function as the business scales.
• You’ll own financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across a growing international organization.
• The role combines hands-on accounting leadership with strategic financial planning and close partnership with operational and commercial teams.
• You’ll help translate hiring plans, customer deployments, pricing decisions, and spending into clear financial implications and recommendations.
• You’ll also oversee multi-entity accounting across the US, Canada, and UK, including consolidation, foreign currency, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition.
• With significant ownership and autonomy, you’ll shape finance processes, systems, controls, and automation from the ground up.
