Job description:

• Responsibilities:
• •Plan, direct, and supervise all mining activities, including drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and crushing
• •Monitor ore grade control and ensure compliance with quality standards
• •Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
• •Manage personnel and equipment resources effectively
• •Ensure all mining operations adhere to strict safety guidelines and environmental regulations
• •Conduct regular inspections of work sites and address any issues or concerns promptly
• •Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and government agencies
• •Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other professionals to optimize mining operations

• Qualifications:
• •Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
• •At least 10 years of experience in open-pit mining operations, including at least 5 years in a management role
• •Proven track record of increasing production levels while reducing costs
• •Extensive knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• •Strong leadership abilities, including communication, delegation, and conflict resolution skills
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and mining-related computer programs
• •Ability to travel internationally as needed
