This role sits at the center of an M&A team, focused on building a strong pipeline of acquisition opportunities across the software sector. You’ll proactively identify prospective businesses and initiate conversations with founders, owners, and senior executives. The position combines business development, relationship building, market research, and strategic outreach. You’ll have significant autonomy to manage your pipeline, experiment with new approaches, and improve the way opportunities are sourced and tracked. Success in this role requires resilience, strong communication, commercial awareness, and a consistent focus on measurable goals. It offers the opportunity to contribute directly to acquisition strategy while developing relationships with senior decision-makers across North America.
