About the Role

JLL is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Commercial Manager for a dedicated resource to a prestigious financial services client in Hong Kong. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong procurement and cost management leadership , construction contract management, and stakeholder communication skills.

The successful candidate will act as the primary cost and commercial advisor embedded within the client’s project team, supporting a diverse portfolio of works across multiple packages.

Key Responsibilities

• •Serve as key members and driver of cost management team with a strong commercial focus—managing end-to-end tender processes, from strategy and documentation through evaluation and award.
• •Manage and administer construction contracts , ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and value for money.
• •Develop comprehensive reporting and analysis for internal and client stakeholders, including cost forecasts, variance analysis, and performance dashboards.
• •Package, scope, and sequence a range of construction works to align with program milestones and budget constraints.
• •Prepare clear, evidence-based and professional recommendation and advice to support client decision-making.
• •Act as the key liaison between JLL team and the client’s internal stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and commercial insights effectively and professionally.

Requirements

• •Minimum 8–10 years of post-qualification experience in quantity surveying or commercial management, preferably within corporate office fit-out sector .
• •Proven track record in leading tenders , developing procurement strategies, cost management, and managing client relationships.
• •Strong understanding of commercial best practices in HK fitting out industry.
• •Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills—with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
• •Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience engaging senior stakeholders in a corporate environment.
• •Role is based in client's office in Hong Kong and available to start in Q4 2026 .
• •Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Cost and Procurement Management, or a related field.
