As a Laundry Attendant at Courtyard, you’ll be essential to our behind-the-scenes success, keeping linens fresh, clean, and ready to support a seamless guest experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

• •Receive, sort, and separate soiled linens and terry into designated containers for proper processing.
• •Operate commercial washers, dryers, ironers, sheet spreaders, and folding equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality linen output.
• •Inspect finished products to ensure they meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• •Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with hotel safety and cleanliness guidelines.
• •Promptly report malfunctioning equipment, low inventory of supplies, and damaged linens to a supervisor to help ensure smooth laundry operations.
• •Support team efficiency through effective time management and attention to operational details.
• •Perform other job -related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• •No formal education required.
• •Prior laundry experience preferred but not required.
• •Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and follow verbal instructions.
• •Competence in operating industrial laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• •Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

Physical Requirements:

• •Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds as required throughout the shift.
• •Frequent bending during tasks such as loading/unloading machines and folding linens.
• •Ability to stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time.
• •Comfortable working in a warm, physically active environment with industrial equipment.
