About the job:

The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for implementation, monitor and appropriate documentation of all regulatory agency (i.e. ODHHS, ODM, OIG) and other Mount Carmel Health System requirements related to credentialing of Mount Carmel Health Partners. Administrative functions include primary source verification of credentialing applications to include critical analysis of a provider's competence through assessment education and specific training. Serves as a credentialing liaison for Health Partners with all internal and external credentialing entities.

What we are looking for:

• •Education: Associate degree in administration, health or behavioral science field preferred.
• •Licensure / Certification: Certified Professional Credentialing Services (CPCS) and/or
• •Certified Professional Medical Staff Services Management (CPMSM) certification preferred;
• •(National Association of Medical Staff Services)
• •Experience: Minimum of two years experience performing administrative duties.
• •Experience working with physicians preferred. Credentialing experience preferred.
• •Effective Communication Skills
• •Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• •Knowledge of basic and credentialing computer software including internet use and
• •spreadsheets preferred.
• •Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
• •Knowledge of external regulatory requirements (ODHHS, ODM, OIG, NCQA) preferred.
• •Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
• •Ability to maintain confidential / sensitive physician information.
