Job Description

Build and lead Philips’ Cross-Category Supplier Management Hub in Lodz, creating a scalable model for managing lower-spend direct material suppliers across multiple categories. You will strengthen supplier performance, continuity, compliance and cost competitiveness while enabling category teams to focus on strategic suppliers and value creation.

Your role :

Supplier Portfolio Management

• •Lead the management of a broad portfolio of lower-spend direct material suppliers across multiple categories.
• •Define supplier governance and engagement models.
• •Drive supplier rationalization and complexity reduction initiatives.
• •Ensure suppliers meet performance, quality, service, delivery and compliance requirements.

Supplier Performance & Risk Management

• •Establish supplier performance management frameworks and scorecards.
• •Lead ongoing supplier reviews and corrective action programs.
• •Identify and mitigate supply, quality, operational and financial risks.
• •Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to improve service and delivery performance.

Value & Cost Management

• •Deliver sustainable value through productivity, cost optimization and supplier development initiatives.
• •Support category teams in identifying opportunities for consolidation, standardization and efficiency.
• •Monitor and improve total cost of ownership across the supplier base.
• •Contribute to procurement savings and value realization objectives.

Operating Model & Governance

• •Build and continuously improve the Cross-Category Supplier Management Hub operating model.
• •Establish scalable processes, governance, policies and performance metrics.
• •Drive digitalization, automation and data-driven supplier management practices.
• •Ensure adherence to procurement policies, quality standards, sustainability requirements and regulatory obligations.

Stakeholder Leadership

• •Partner closely with Category Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and Procurement Leadership teams.
• •Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier performance and operational issues.
• •Lead a team of supplier management professionals across multiple geographies and categories.
• •Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus.

You're the right fit if:

• •You hold a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• •You have at least 10 years of relevant experience in Category Management, Market Analysis, Supplier Negotiations, Portfolio Optimization, or equivalent.
• •You bring extensive leadership experience in Direct Procurement, Supplier Management, Category Management, or Supply Chain.
• •You have a proven track record managing large, diverse supplier portfolios and leading centralized procurement operations, shared services or procurement excellence organizations.
• •You understand supplier performance management, risk, quality, and supply-continuity principles.
• •You have delivered transformation, process improvement, and operating model development.
• •You can lead teams across geographies and influence Category Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and Procurement Leadership stakeholders.
• •You use governance, analytics, digitalization, and automation to improve performance and ensure compliance.
• •You combine business acumen with cost optimization, total cost-of-ownership and value-realization expertise.

Compensation & benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is PLN 234,500.00 – PLN 388,500.00. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for 10% short term incentive, with your rewards linked to company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.

• How we work together
• We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
