Location: Franklin, MA

Pay Rate: $17.35 per hour (flat rate per union contract, not negotiable)

Schedule & Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, rotating schedule with a 4 day work week and a 10 hour work day

Week 1 Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday

Week 2 Schedule: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

This role is union-based, and as a Union Team Member, you'll play a critical role in maintaining healthy plants, supporting cultivation operations, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and company standards.

What You'll Do

Plant Care & Cultivation Support

Support daily cultivation activities throughout all stages of the plant lifecycle, including propagation, vegetative growth, flowering, and harvest.

Assist with transplanting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and integrated pest management (IPM) practices.

Help maintain optimal environmental conditions for plant health and productivity.

Take cuttings from mother plants and assist with cloning and propagation processes.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout cultivation areas, tools, and equipment.

Safely operate cultivation equipment and systems

Assist with general labor tasks as needed to support facility operations.

Harvest & Post-Harvest Activities

Harvest mature plants according to production schedules and compliance requirements

Monitor drying rooms and environmental conditions to support product quality.

Weigh, record, and track harvest yields and production metrics.

Assist with inventory management and waste tracking procedures.

Compliance & Documentation

Maintain accurate records of cultivation activities, inventory movements, harvests, and treatments.

Follow all state regulations, company policies, and seed-to-sale tracking requirements.

Adhere to workplace safety standards and best cultivation practices.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older

High School Diploma or GED

Valid government-issued photo identification

Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently when required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to perform measurements, calculations, and accurately record data

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

Six (6) months or more of cannabis, agricultural, greenhouse, horticulture, nursery, or cultivation experience

Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment

Passion for plant science and commercial cultivation

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly without assistance

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout the workday

Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including heat, humidity, and cooler temperatures

Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Ability to climb ladders and work safely around cultivation equipment

Comfortable working in an environment with exposure to plant materials, pollen, dust, odors, fertilizers, and varying indoor climate conditions
