Custodian - 1st Shift

Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to support cleanliness and sanitation in our manufacturing facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, organized, and professional environment for our team.

The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining break areas and common areas throughout the facility during their assigned shift. This position ensures a clean, sanitary, and safe workplace environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• •Clean and sanitize break rooms and common areas
• •Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• •Sweep, mop, and maintain floors
• •Wipe down tables, counters, appliances, and high-touch surfaces
• •Restock paper products and soap supplies
• •Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance needs
• •Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• •Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred (manufacturing environment a plus)
• •Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• •Strong attention to detail
• •Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• •Ability to lift up to 25–40 pounds
• •Ability to bend, stoop, and reach regularly
