PURPOSE

Responsible for the accurate and timely creation and maintenance of Customer Master Data, Pricing Master Data and Contract Data for supported business areas in Asia and Middle East & India (MEI), in accordance with global data standards, approved business requirements and established service commitments.

NATURE AND SCOPE

The Customer Master Data Administrator supports business operations across Asia and MEI by creating, maintaining and making changes on customer accounts, contracts, pricing records and related internal and external text in SAP and associated customer master data tools.

The role applies to global data standards and business-specific work processes to determine required data, customer relationships and account linkages. It validates approvals and supporting information before processing requests and maintains a strong focus on data quality, compliance and service delivery.

The position works closely with Commercial, Customer Service Representative, Billing, Credit, Collections, Compliance and Regulatory, System Support Team and other teams. The role requires attention to detail, sound judgement, process discipline and effective stakeholder communication.

• PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Data Quality - Customer Master, Price Master and Contract Data
• 1. Adhere to documented Data Standards in creation or modification of Customer Master Data as well as account deletion.
• 2. Adhere to documented Data Standards in creation or modification of Contract Data.
• 3. Adhere to the Job Aids defining the required data fields including specific Business Area Work Processes.
• 4. Continually review and cleanse Customer Account information in both Customer Master and in the Contract as per Data Standards.
• 5. Create quotations for every New or Modified Price record to validate the accuracy of data input.
• 6. Validate those appropriate approvals are obtained prior to adding or modifying customer master, pricing and/or contract data as per the specific business guideline s.

• Support Daily Operations for the Customer Master Data Team
• 1. Handling of the Team Mailbox with equal distribution of the workload for Contract and Customer Master Data requests (E-Mails, Workbooks, Questions, etc.) in supporting Team Members.
• 2. Continually share and discuss with Team Members processes, job aids and / or business knowledge.
• 3. Handling of various projects and spreadsheets received to update Customer Data, Pricing, Contract Data and Customer Relationship Management – Sales Force Automation (CRM-SFA).
• 4. Adhere to the Service Level Agreement (SLA) as defined for Customer Master.
• 5. Daily resolution of various SAP Error Reports to include but not limited to, Billing Blocks, ZCL and LB Error Reports.
• 6. Updating the Customer Master Measurement Database in identifying each setup per guidelines.

7. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager, as required.

• JOB REQUIREMENTS
• 1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration, commerce, information management or a related discipline.

2. At least one year of relevant experience in commercial execution, shared services, master data, customer service or a related business process; database experience is preferred.

3. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, particularly Excel; experience with SAP or other enterprise systems is preferred.

4. Fluent written and verbal English. Ability to read, write and speak Chinese is required;

5. Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, process discipline and commitment to data accuracy.

6. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions, cultures and regions.

7. Good teamwork, organization and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities under pressure.

8. Willingness to work flexible hours when business-critical support, project activities or system implementations require it.
