About the role:

The Customer Onboarding Intern will be a critical part of the client onboarding process. Leads internal cross-team meetings, ensures continuity between pre-sales and Customer Success, coordinates with cross teams to meet objectives, and provides onboarding status reports. The internship period will be for 5 months and the role permanency will be evaluated as per candidate’s performance during the internship period.

Onboarding is a unique role within our company that combines aspects of project management, process development, and efficiency innovation. Our Onboarding folks leverage their organizational and social capabilities and knowledge of the WebEngage platform to manage cross-teams and clients throughout the onboarding process.

Responsibilities:

• •Exemplifies a hands-on approach to project management by managing multiple clients, cross teams, and tasks with flawless delivery
• •Prepares meeting notes, action items and weekly status reports
• •Knows the client, their business, and their goals to integrate as efficiently as possible
• •Converts client’s varied business requirements into integration data points for WebEngage funcitoning
• •Collaborates with other cross-functional teams to resolve onboarding related issues
• •Supports website, mobile SDK, API and channel-integration discussions
• •Maintains knowledge of all product features
• •Performs implementation audits and validating data received in WebEngage
• •Trains the relevant stakeholders on key elements of the product to launch them towards success.
• •Escalating risks, delays and requirement gaps to the Onboarding Manager
• •Ensures that the client sticks to the project timelines to ensure we go live with the project within the set timelines.

Requirements:

• •Comfortable holding others accountable to tasks and deadlines
• •Meets and adheres to Service Level Agreement standards on a consistent basis
• •Communicates technical issues to a non-technical audience and fosters collaboration with Engineering, Product, Sales, Tech, and Customer Success
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good documentation understanding.
• •Thrives in a problem-solving environment
• •SaaS experience/project is a plus.
• •Bachelorʼs degree in IT/Computer Science compulsory.
• •Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API integration, iOS or Android platforms.
• •Experience in Digital Marketing products, implementing and integrating technical programs for non-technical users.
• •Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets

Good-to-haves:

• •Academic, internship or project exposure to SaaS products.
• •Exposure to digital marketing, CRM or marketing-automation platforms.
• •Experience using project-management tools such as Asana, Jira, Trello or similar.
