Job Description:

Pay: $19.39 - $21.02 per hour

Salary is commensurate with a candidate's direct Phlebotomy experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Schedule : Sunday through Saturday, Five days a week, variable hours between the hours of 6am-8pm based on business needs, Every other weekend required.

Travel: You will assist Vitalant’s donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations withing a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

No prior experience is required. Paid training is provided.

As an entry level phlebotomist on our Blood Collections Team, you'll travel to regional blood drives and work directly with donors to collect blood and blood products that save lives. No previous blood collection experience is required. In this hands-on position, you'll guide donors through the donation process while collect ing the blood and blood products that hospitals rely on every day.

Every day you will:

Create an exceptional donor experience by welcoming, educating, and caring for donors throughout the donation process.

Perform blood collections while ensuring donor safety, comfort, and confidence.

Maintain accurate records and follow all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Drive company vehicles of all sizes, s et up and operate equipment at mobile blood driv e locations.

Contribute to a mission-focused team committed to ensuring blood is available whenever and wherever patients need it.

Required Qualifications

• •High School graduate or GED
• •Valid in–state driver's license and suitable driving record
• •Must have personal reliable transportation
• •Effective oral and written communication skills.
• •Basic working knowledge of Windows operating system, keyboard usage and PC.
• •Must be able to read and comprehend written procedures and instructions.
• •Must be able to work flexible shifts, varied schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• •Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills.
• •Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member.
• •Ability to travel, as required.
