Cybersecurity Engineer

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Cybersecurity Engineer within the Forensic and eDiscovery Squad (FEDS) to perform core engineering activities that integrate critical investigation applications across the software development lifecycle, support solutions deployed across cloud and on-premises environments, and contribute to proactive data governance capabilities while partnering closely with Technology teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

This is a Cybersecurity Engineering position at Associate level which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

What you'll do in the role:

• •Contribute to the FEDS function by supporting highly complex project work and strategic initiatives.
• •Provide guidance and mentorship to Professional Engineer (P1) and Proficient Engineer (P2) team members, supporting their professional and personal development.
• •Perform engineering and operational activities supporting data security services, including service delivery, task automation, and DevOps functions.
• •Maintain existing DevOps tools and onboard new tooling to support evolving business requirements and integration with existing technology.
• •Partner closely with the Technical Product Owner, Engineering Lead, and key stakeholders to continuously improve services through automation scripting and observability solutions.
• •Participate in design reviews and code reviews across the squad and stakeholder groups.
• •Support the team's agile ways of working by actively participating in agile ceremonies and providing Engineering Lead coverage when required.
• •Drive knowledge sharing across Global eDiscovery & Investigations squads and chapters through documentation, presentations, and internal communications.
• •Contribute to engineering solutions supporting cloud and on-premises environments, with a focus on data security and governance capabilities.
• Collaborate with Technology teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to deliver and enhance engineering services.

What you'll bring to the role:

• •Ability to effectively manage multiple functions, guide junior staff, and support key initiatives.
• •Demonstrated expertise in Linux Shell, Python, and PowerShell scripting.
• •Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira, Git, Jenkins Pipeline, test automation, and Agile team leadership.
• •Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems, networking concepts, firewall rules, proxy policies, and critical cybersecurity controls.
• •Proven ability to deploy, integrate, and support products and tools within enterprise environments using DevOps methodologies.
• •Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL).
• •Ability to quickly learn proprietary technologies and support enterprise systems within a complex, regulated environment.
• •Demonstrated expertise in automation, orchestration, and DevOps practices, including hands-on implementation from requirements analysis through testing, automation, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
• •Passion for automation, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with experience in frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
• •Ability to own the quality and timeliness of delivery while communicating key issues and progress updates in a regular, accurate, and timely manner.
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• •Experience with M365, AWS, Azure DevOps, and public cloud management.
• •Experience with Flux, Grafana, and Splunk.
• •Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• •Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Cloudify, and other infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• •Knowledge of Autopsy, Cellebrite, Magnet Axiom, Nuix, Passware, and BigID.
