Data Center Engineer

As a Data Centre Engineer at IMC, you will be joining a dynamic team of highly motivated professionals who strive to be the best at what they do by continuously learning, innovating, and improving. You will be working alongside a highly collaborative team in a high performance and technical environment. IMC will be investing in you from day one to grow and develop within the Infrastructure team.

Your Core Responsibilities:

Manage IMC’s data centres with frequent travelling across APAC

Coordinate projects with our IT teams in Sydney

Provide racking and patching services in our remote data centres

Coordinate with vendors on deliveries, installation, etc.

Coordinate remote work with our brokers and exchanges

Procurement through our standard suppliers and global vendors

Data centre administration

On-site troubleshooting

Project Management

Your Skills and Experience:

At least 3 years’ experience in IT infrastructure roles;

Datacentre management experience;

Strong project management and organisational skills;

Good verbal and written communication in English is a must; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.

Linux server experience and networking skills highly regarded;

Good understanding of hardware and hardware trends;

Flexibility to travel frequently, including during weekends;

Strong investigative analysis skills;

The ability to think critically in a high-paced, constantly changing environment; a sense of urgency is a must;

Strong communication skills and the ability to leverage your colleagues’ s strengths with your own;
