About the Team

Within the Customer Success Center of Excellence, our Value Architecture and Models team provides the Value, CSM, Sales, Partners, and other GTM teams with value selling digital experiences, technologies, and expertise to drive revenue growth and decrease the cost of sale. We do this by developing, deploying and operating intuitive self-service tools, digital experiences, workflow solutions, and value content repositories that scale. We are implementing AI-powered solutions to enhance productivity and provide real-time support to Workday's go-to-market teams.

• About the Role

As our Data Engineer within the VAM team, you will support, oversee, maintain, and develop a portfolio of enterprise tools (bought and built), AI agents, and dashboards used by thousands of our Workmates and partners in go-to-market functions—covering areas of automated customer-facing asset creation, attribution and impact measuring, benchmarking, reporting, and more.

Primary Responsibilities

• •Design and build technology architectures to capture, manage, store, and utilize structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources.
• •Develop infrastructure to automate connections between enterprise systems and tools.
• •Take cloud-code prototypes built by team members and develop them into production-ready web applications deployed on GCP.
• •Apply ETL techniques to connect, prepare, and manipulate large datasets from a variety of sources.
• •Route data appropriately using distributed structures, database technologies, and applicable storage forms as required.
• •Build and maintain relationships and work closely with technical teams to ensure proper support and access for the Digital Support Center.
• •Work closely with stakeholders across the globe (including senior leadership) to ensure business challenges are directly addressed through technology solutions.
• •Support reporting, education, and ongoing development of the team to ensure effectiveness in a dynamic market.

About You

Basic Qualifications

• •Minimum of 4 years of professional data engineering or software development experience.
• •Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience scripting, building data pipelines, or developing application backends using Python.
• •Minimum of 2 years of experience building, deploying, or managing cloud infrastructure and applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• •Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience modeling, querying, and managing data within Snowflake.
• •Professional fluency in English (written and verbal).

Other Qualifications:

• •Experience building, deploying, or integrating AI/ML tools, LLM APIs, or AI coding assistants into production workflows.
• •Hands-on experience building reports and interactive dashboards using Sigma connected to Snowflake.
• •Hands-on experience developing or managing services on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• •Experience working within a multinational company or supporting global cross-functional stakeholders.

Listed below is the base salary range applicable to this position. Workday pay ranges (and the precise pay offered to the successful candidate) are based on a number of objective criteria such as relevant experience and skills, and educational qualifications, level of responsibility, demands of the role, work location and business need. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants awarded by Workday Inc. Primary Location Base Pay Range: zł168,700 PLN - zł253,100 PLN Poland
