As a Data Engineer - Manager - Operate you will lead the design, build, and support of data engineering solutions that help clients streamline operations, improve data flow, and strengthen service delivery within our Managed Services practice. As a Manager you will coach teams, guide delivery across multiple workstreams, manage project priorities, and use sound judgment to handle complex issues while supporting client expectations and team development. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will help shape managed service delivery for data, analytics, and AI-focused work, using technology, process improvement, and a practical understanding of how businesses run to drive dependable outcomes across evolving client needs.

Responsibilities

• - Leading data engineering workstreams across managed service engagements, aligning delivery plans with client service expectations
• - Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and issue resolution for data platform and pipeline initiatives
• - Guiding teams in designing, building, and supporting scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions
• - Overseeing data quality controls, workflow automation, and performance monitoring across operational data environments
• - Applying cloud engineering and analytics tools to improve service delivery, reliability, and process efficiency
• - Reviewing technical deliverables, validating work products, and coaching team members through feedback and development discussions
• - Coordinating with client stakeholders and internal leaders to address delivery challenges, priorities, and changes in requirements
• - Identifying opportunities for process improvement, operational performance management, and continuous service enhancement

What You Must Have

• - At least a Bachelor's degree
• - At least 10 years of experience in Data Engineer, Netezza, Data Stage, OGG etc
• - Oral and written proficiency in English required
