Data Insights & Visualization Engineer

Phase: Initial phase (delivers pilot value)

Required experience: 5+ years in data insights / BI and visualization roles.

Role summary

Turns the platform data into insights and visualizations that demonstrate value from the pilot use cases. Bridges the technical platform and the stakeholders who need to see and act on the data.

Key responsibilities

• •Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations on top of the lakehouse and graph data.
• •Translate pilot use cases into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• •Model curated datasets for reporting and self-service analytics.
• •Work with data engineers to ensure the data serving layer meets visualization needs.
• •Iterate on insights based on stakeholder feedback during pilots.

Must-have skills and experience

• •Strong data visualization experience (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• •Ability to model and prepare data for analytics and reporting.
• •Good SQL and data storytelling skills.
• •Experience working against lakehouse or warehouse data.

Nice to have

• •Experience visualizing time-series or OT / IoT data.
• •Graph visualization experience.
• •Snowflake reporting experience.

Relevant stack

Power BI / Tableau, SQL, Azure / Snowflake serving layer, optionally graph and time-series data.
