As a recognized subject matter expert, you'll lead the design and development of sophisticated data models, architect scalable data warehousing solutions, and translate complex business requirements into technical excellence. You'll mentor team members, influence technical direction, and deliver solutions that optimize analytical reporting performance across the organization

Responsibilities:

• •Design & Architect : Develop dimensional data models (fact/dimension design) and data frameworks that optimize analytical reporting performance and support end-user data discovery
• •Build & Transform : Create and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading between transactional and analytical systems
• •Collaborate & Lead : Lead design sessions, facilitate requirements gathering with subject matter experts, and guide technical solutions across complex, multi-system environments
• •Analyze & Optimize : Perform SQL development, query optimization, and data profiling to ensure scalable and efficient data solutions
• •Communicate & Influence : Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and influence policies, practices, and procedures across teams
• •Mentor & Guide : Coach and provide technical guidance to lower-level team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence
• •Deliver : Build reports, dashboards, and OLAP databases that meet complex business intelligence and information requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

• •Clearance: An active DoD Secret clearance
• •Education & Experience : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 5–7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• •Technical Expertise : Expert-level dimensional data modeling (fact/dimension design)Deep knowledge of data warehousing, data marts, and data architecture principles. Advanced SQL development, query optimization, and data profiling capabilities. Proven source-to-target mapping and ETL process design and implementation. Strong understanding of data structures, relationships, and database design principles (PK/FK, schemas)
• •Professional Skills : Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions and models. Experience working across complex, multi-system environments (ERP systems, analytics platforms, etc.)Proven track record leading design sessions and facilitating requirements gathering. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with focus on scalable, efficient solutions. Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to peers. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Desired:

• •Hands-on experience with BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx)
• •Experience with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• •Familiarity with data lake architectures and modern analytics ecosystems
• •Experience developing data modeling standards and comprehensive documentation
• •Knowledge of online analytical processing (OLAP) tools and technologies
• •Background in statistical analyses, predictive forecasting, and trend interpretation

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200-$158,100
