Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Scientist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to work on data science projects with a strong focus on forecasting and predictive modeling . The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in Python , software development best practices, and building reliable and maintainable data science solutions. Experience with Azure-based data and machine learning platforms will be an added advantage.

1. Responsibilities

• •Develop and maintain data science solutions with a focus on forecasting use cases .
• •Analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights relevant to business requirements.
• •Build, evaluate, and improve forecasting and predictive models .
• •Prepare and transform data required for model development and analysis.
• •Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• •Ensure developed solutions are reliable, maintainable, and suitable for deployment.
• •Monitor model performance and support continuous improvement of existing forecasting solutions.
• •Document models, methodologies, assumptions, and project outcomes.

2. Must-Have Skills

• •3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in Data Science.
• •Strong hands-on experience with Python for data science and model development.
• •Hands-on experience with forecasting and predictive modeling techniques.
• •Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Modularization.
• •Hands-on experience with Git and Version Control practices.
• •Hands-on experience with Unit Testing.
• •Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and software development practices.
• •Good level of written and spoken English .

3. Good-to-Have Skills

• •Experience with Azure Databricks .
• •Experience with Azure Machine Learning , particularly Jobs and Pipelines .
• •Knowledge of YAML configurations .
• •Hands-on experience with PySpark .
• •Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar task management tools .
