A day in the life of an Infoscion

As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.

You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.

You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design

You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines

Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end testing for Azure-based cloud migration programs, ensuring data integrity and quality across all stages

Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts for data validation, reconciliation, and test optimization

Perform ETL testing, including data validation, transformation checks, and source-to-target mapping verification

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data profiling and reconciliation.

Validate Azure data workflows, including ADF pipelines, Databricks (PySpark) notebooks, and ingestion/transformation processes

Drive defect management lifecycle, including tracking, reporting, root cause analysis, and stakeholder communication

Required Skills:

6+ years in ETL & Data Migration Testing

Strong proficiency in SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks (PySpark), and Python

Hands-on experience with Azure data services including ADLS, Delta Lake, Azure SQL, and Synapse

Proven experience in cloud data migration and testing within the Azure ecosystem

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively
