Client Database Specification Specialist

Job Overview

Under guidance, supports the creation and maintenance of client-specific database specifications, configuring ad‑hoc databases from standard IQVIA systems to meet contractual and operational requirements.

Essential Functions

• •Receives and documents requests for ad‑hoc client databases, including sell‑in and sell‑out territorial definitions.
• •Defines database specifications ensuring that client requirements are correctly translated into data content instructions.
• •Manually configures database definitions within IQVIA systems, following established procedures and quality standards.
• •Ensures accuracy and completeness of all manual definitions, recognising the high‑risk nature of ad‑hoc configurations.
• •Supports delivery during peak workload periods, such as parallel runs and renewal cycles, ensuring continuity of service.
• •Responds to operational clarifications and adjustments required before final delivery to clients.
• •Applies standard practices to analyse issues and resolve routine operational problems related to database definitions.

Qualifications

• •Experience in client reporting, database specification, or similar data operational roles
• •Strong attention to detail and reliability in manual execution
• •Solid PC literacy, particularly Excel and data‑handling tools
• •Ability to work under time pressure and manage fluctuating workload
• •General knowledge of pharmaceutical data or IQVIA information products
