Job Summary

Deburr personnel are responsible for performing duties including deburring, sanding, and polishing parts during the Manufacturing Process.

Job Responsibilities:

• •Use small hand tools to clean up cosmetic issues on parts
• •Read and comprehend information on shop job travelers
• •Use basic precision measurement tools
• •Compare estimate times on job travelers to actual times
• •Follow all standardized work procedures and specific instructions given by the supervisor

• •Basic math skills.
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
• •Understands processes used in removing scratches, excess weld material, and burs.
• •High degree of manual dexterity while using a microscope.
• •The use of a microscope is required for up to 8 hours per day.
• •Sitting for a long period up to 8 hours per day.
• •Strong written & oral communication skills to support business needs in an English-speaking environment.
• •Ability to effectively communicate with employees of the organization.
