Best-One Tire & Service in Louisville is looking for a Delivery Driver who can be a dependable driver to join our team. Responsibilities include delivering orders safely and on time, loading and unloading and providing excellent customer service. What You’ll Do as a Delivery Driver:

• •Safely operate a box truck less than 26,000 pounds. (CDL not required)
• •Picking up, driving, delivering and unloading per daily designated routes.
• •Customer service – deliver product, unload product, accept payments, record check # or other payment method on invoice, take customer complaints.
• •Monitor the need for maintenance or major repairs by completing the Pre & Post Trip Inspection checklist for each trip.
• •Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards.
• •Interface with shipping and receiving personnel to ensure timely deliveries, including pulling orders, receiving and putting away product.
• •Performing other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• •Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.
• •Ability to pass a state Department of Transportation medical exam.
• •High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• •Some distribution supply experience preferred.
• •Some computer skills preferred, data entry skills a plus.
• •Commitment to service beyond the expectations of our customers.
• •Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• •Ability to consistently follow store policies and procedures.
• •Ability to read and complete instructions.
• •The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

• •Lifting: Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high.
• •Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting.
• •Sitting/driving for extended periods of time.
• •Able to read tickets and perform work listed.
• •Environment: Work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season.
• •Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception).
• •Sense of sound (Alarms, horns and motorized equipment).
• •PPE: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves).
