Delivery Support - instashop

About the Role

As a Delivery Support, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating delivery operations to ensure timely and efficient service. This role involves managing a team of drivers, overseeing daily delivery activities, and implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• •Supervising and coordinating daily delivery operations, assigning tasks and routes to drivers
• •Conducting rider interviews and managing the onboarding process to ensure new hires are well-prepared
• •Conducting on-ground training to all new hires to ensure they are aligned with InstaShop's standards
• •Monitoring delivery performance, addressing delays, and resolving on-ground issues to ensure timely service
• •Providing support and guidance to drivers, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies
• •Conducting regular performance evaluations and training sessions to enhance team skills and efficiency
• •Communicating with customers and addressing any delivery-related concerns or feedback
• •Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, incidents, and vehicle usage
• •Ensuring asset delivery is in a timely fashion to 3PL vendors and their riders

Key Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field
• •Minimum 2+ years of experience in delivery operations or team supervision
• •Strong understanding of route planning, delivery processes, and safety regulations
• •Proficiency in using delivery management software and GPS tracking systems
