Demand Generation Associate - Amazon Shipping, IN Amazon Shipping

• Amazon has one of the largest & most trusted shipping networks in India which is currently leveraged by businesses working with Amazon. We want to extend the benefits of these shipping services to D2C online retailers for their own business to help them serve their customers better & in turn grow their business. This role will be responsible for acquiring new customers for this growing business.
• We are seeking a street-smart, result-oriented candidate with sales & business development experience in the shipping & logistics industry. Candidate should be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities and changing landscapes. One should be collaborative, but equally data-driven and analytical. The individual should constantly strive to expand our understanding of the metrics and industry.

• Key job responsibilities
• 1. New Shipper Onboarding & Activation: Drive end-to-end onboarding of new shippers in the pipeline along with account activation (First Manifestation) — ensuring they are set up for successful first shipments on the Amazon Shipping platform.

2. Lead Engagement & Conversion: Proactively engage with qualified leads through structured outreach and tailored pitches that highlight Amazon Shipping's value proposition (competitive pricing, reliability, pan-India reach) to maximize lead-to-activation conversion rates.

3. Shipper Enablement & Training Conduct: Hands-on training sessions to familiarize new shippers with the Self-Service Shipper portal, shipping workflows, and Amazon Shipping policies, enabling them to operate independently post-onboarding.

4. Negotiation & Persuasion Leverage: strong negotiation and consultative selling skills to address shipper objections, communicate service advantages, and drive higher conversion from pipeline to active shippers.

5. Shipper Insights & Voice of Customer: Capture ground-level shipper feedback, objections, and market signals during pre-sales interactions to improve the shipper experience.

6. Account Manager Handoff & Coordination: Establish and maintain a clear handshake process with Account Managers to ensure a seamless transition of activated shippers — including documentation of shipper context, expectations, and any open issues — for ongoing relationship management.

Basic qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree
• - 1+ years of sales experience

Preferred qualifications

• - Experience in logistics, or experience in courier industry
• - Experience as Pre-Sales Executive or Demand Generation Associate
