We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to work alongside our dentists and dental hygienists in providing high-quality, compassionate dental care to patients of all ages. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, connecting with patients, and continuing to grow their skills in a busy community health setting.

As a Dental Assistant, you will support patient care through chairside assisting, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, maintaining infection-control standards, taking responsibility for dental supplies and inventory, and helping keep the clinical day running smoothly.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time, 38-hour-per-week position scheduled over four days , giving you the benefit of a consistent day off during the workweek.

Our dental practices offer extended hours to make care more accessible to our patients, so some evening availability is required , along with occasional weekend or community-based events.

We value teamwork and flexibility. Depending on patient and program needs, Dental Assistants may occasionally be asked to support another CCAP dental location.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• •High school diploma or GED certificate
• •Completion of accredited course in dental assisting, preferred
• •X-Ray Certification
• •Certified Dental Assistant, preferred
• •Current CPR (BLS) required
• •Ability to attend to multiple tasks at the same time and to prioritize assignments and responsibilities to ensure compliance with established deadlines and protocols.
• •Effective oral and written communication skills
• •Provide/maintain all required immunizations and/or vaccinations
• •Complete all required background checks
