Dental Assistant I (Sea Mar Community Health Centers)

Sea Mar is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support dental providers and deliver quality patient care. This role includes chairside assistance, patient education, infection control, and supporting clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• •Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry across multiple procedures
• •Escort and greet patients; ensure patient comfort and confidentiality
• •Assist with patient charting, vitals, and dental documentation in Dentrix/Allscripts
• •Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
• •Support scheduling, inventory, supply ordering, and quality improvement activities
• •Train new staff and assist with competency testing and ongoing education

Qualifications

• •Completion of a formal Dental Assistant program or 1+ year experience
• •Washington State DOH Dental Assistant Registration required
• •BLS CPR required within 90 days of hire
• •Strong infection control and patient communication skills
• •Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
