We're looking for a Department Manager to lead a high-performing manufacturing operation, develop frontline leaders, and drive excellence in safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do

As Department Manager, you will provide leadership for a manufacturing operation, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality products while developing a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead all aspects of department performance, including Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost
• •Develop, coach, and support a leadership team consisting of Team Managers and Process Engineering resources
• •Conduct regular coaching and development discussions, ensuring growth plans are established and actively managed
• •Establish operational goals and lead initiatives that improve performance and deliver business results
• •Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across the department
• •Partner with Human Resources on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and succession planning
• •Ensure issues are resolved promptly and communicated effectively to all stakeholders
• •Champion associate engagement through regular communication forums, recognition programs, and feedback initiatives
• •Lead and support Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, safety, environmental, and operational excellence initiatives
• •Participate in plant-wide leadership teams and strategic improvement efforts

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• •Manufacturing leadership experience, including supervisory, management, engineering, or operational leadership roles
• •Strong communication skills with the ability to engage associates, leaders, and cross-functional partners at all levels
• •Proven ability to lead teams, influence change, and drive operational performance
• •Flexibility to support operations across multiple shifts as business needs require

Preferred Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• •Experience leading teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• •Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
• •Carpet, flooring, textile, or related process manufacturing experience
