Design Engineer I - Automotive Plastics (CATIA)

Summary:

Design Engineer with Automotive Plastics experience using CATIA.

Responsibilities:

Apply engineering principles to develop layout for mobility systems.

Develop Layout in CATIA to accommodate part packaging while ensuring that those parts achieve performance targets.

Expertise in CATIA - Part Design, Generative shape design, Drafting & Assembly Design workbenches.

Search new ways to increase overall efficiency, utilize up-to-date technology, and reduce design and parts costs

Qualifications:

Minimum BE/B-Tech in Engineering and 3-7 years relevant industry experience.

Experience using 3-D modeling software tools (CATIA V5 or CATIA V6).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
