About Bespoke Labs

Bespoke Labs is an applied AI research lab pioneering data and RL environment curation for training and evaluating agents.

Recently, we curated Open Thoughts, one of the best open reasoning datasets used by multiple frontier labs, trained SOTA specialized models such as Bespoke-MiniChart-7B and Bespoke-MiniCheck, and built the environment infrastructure that frontier labs and enterprises use to make their agents reliable.

Bespoke is uniquely positioned to capture a large share of data and RL environment curation.

About the Role

Bespoke Labs is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to help run and improve our corporate technology environment in Bangalore.

You will be our first dedicated information technology hire in India and will work closely with the Head of Security and Information Technology. This is a hands-on role covering identity and access, endpoint management, software administration, onboarding and offboarding, security remediation and day-to-day support for the Bangalore office.

Core systems are in place. Your job will be to understand the environment, identify gaps and improve how the systems work together, reducing friction for employees and making it easier for them to get their work done.

What You Will Own

Administer identity and access systems, including user lifecycle, groups, access policies, single sign-on integrations and periodic access reviews

Manage our Apple device fleet through mobile device management, including zero-touch enrollment, encryption, compliance policies, patching and device lifecycle

Own onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors, including accounts, hardware and access provisioning and removal

Configure and maintain software applications, including single sign-on and automated user provisioning

Automate repetitive workflows using application programming interfaces, scripting or built-in integrations where appropriate

Help identify unused or redundant applications, licenses and access

Work through security and compliance findings, including access cleanup, configuration changes and evidence collection

Support security and compliance control operations and help maintain the systems and evidence behind those controls

Provide hands-on technology support for the Bangalore office, including laptops, peripherals, conference rooms and basic office networking

Troubleshoot escalated user and system issues and drive them through resolution

Document configurations, procedures and changes so systems are understandable and repeatable

Follow and help improve our ticketing, documentation and change management processes

What We're Looking For

4+ years of hands-on systems administration, corporate technology or information technology engineering experience

Strong experience administering identity and access management platforms such as Google Workspace, Okta or similar platforms

Experience managing endpoint and mobile device management platforms such as Jamf, Kandji or similar platforms

Practical experience configuring SSO and automated user provisioning

Experience owning employee onboarding, offboarding and access lifecycle processes

Experience configuring or integrating software applications rather than only providing end-user support for them

Ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar systems and independently drive problems to resolution

Experience that includes leading or playing a leading role in a significant technology rollout or migration, such as device management, identity, single sign-on or endpoint deployment

Ability to explain the scope and results of work you have owned, including the number of users, devices or applications involved

Clear written communication and comfort working with a distributed team

Ability to work evening hours in India two to three times per week to overlap with the United States team

Nice to Have

You do not need to have worked with every technology below. Experience in several of these areas is useful:

Software administration and automation

Security, audit or compliance environments

Cloud infrastructure platforms

Scripting, application programming interfaces and workflow automation

Experience supporting a high-growth technology company, a larger enterprise or a regulated environment is a plus, particularly if you had direct ownership of the systems rather than only working from established procedures.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first few weeks, you should be able to understand our environment, identify the most important operational and security gaps and recommend practical improvements.

Within your first 90 days, we expect you to be independently operating the core technology environment in Bangalore, improving onboarding and offboarding reliability, bringing more of our applications under centralized identity management and improving the compliance and security posture of the device fleet.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who sees a problem, investigates it, proposes a sensible solution and follows it through to completion.

Why Bespoke Labs

Extremely competitive Compensation

Hybrid, in-person role in Bangalore

High ownership, minimal process, real impact

Work alongside engineers and researchers building AI-native systems
