Job Title: Digital Engineering and Simulation Intern

Job Summary

The intern will assist the R&D team in simulation projects relating to Design for Additive Manufacturing and optimization, Simulation-based quantitative analysis and AI enabled engineering workflows

Reports to: Senior Manager (Modeling & Simulation)

Key Responsibilities

• •Work on projects relating to product optimization under the supervision of engineering team
• •Support AI-native engineering initiatives for design optimization, workflow efficiency, and data-driven engineering decision-making
• •Perform Finite element analysis and or fluid flow analysis as required
• •Validate simulation results with experimental data
• •Interact with product development teams on design requirements and challenges
• •Discuss, propose, and present solutions to the engineering and management teams
• •Prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering recommendations

Requisite Criteria & Skills

• •Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical /Aerospace engineering/Applied Physics
• •Good understanding of Heat transfer, Fluid Dynamics and Mechanical design
• •Excellent skills in CAD [e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Spaceclaim, Rhino 3D, nTopology]
• •Experience with FEM, CFD using Ansys/Abaqus/ Comsol/ OpenFoam or similar programs and or topology optimization
• •Knowledge of Computational design, Machine learning, Additive manufacturing and coding (Python, C++ etc )
• •Good attitude towards work and a passion for simulation driven design
