Director, Global Strategy – Strategic PMO

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Director of Global Strategic PMO Planning on the Global Strategy team, you are the operational engine behind Arc’teryx’s enterprise-level strategic and key cross functional projects Partnering closely with the VP of Global Strategy, you drive integrated planning, prioritization, governance and decision making to keep the organization focused on the initiatives with the greatest business impact.

You partner with leaders across the business, establish the governance and decision forums needed to advance complex enterprise initiatives and ensure strategic priorities are embedded within existing planning and governance processes across AC, Product Operations, Technology and Finance. You align priorities, secure funding and help solve competing demands on organizational capacity.

Your remit spans overall project management for this portfolio of emerging special projects, including managing relationships with external consultants and partners where specialized capacity or expertise is needed.

As a trusted integrator, you bring structure and rigor to enterprise execution, recommend paths forward when functions conflict, and escalate unresolved issues with clear trade-ffs analysis. Your effectiveness is measured by how reliably strategic priorities stay on track and strength of cross functional alignment and execution.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work (or remote Canada with travels to North Vancouver, BC). Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Global Strategy team is a trusted partner to the executive leadership team in the development, prioritization, and oversight of our company strategies working cross-functionally across the business to ensure attainment of our long-term strategic objectives and goals. We provide strategic insights and frameworks to enable strategy development, cross-functional alignment and executive decision making. We are experts at translating complex, unstructured problems into clear executive level narrative and recommendations. Our team leads the company’s long-range strategic planning process, quarterly business reviews, and the development of an integrated performance management framework to connect our strategy to our annual operating budget and tactical operating plan.
