Position Summary

GOLF, the leading multimedia brand in golf and part of the 8AM Golf portfolio, is seeking a proven new-business seller to join our commercial team as Director, Integrated Partnership Sales. This individual will be responsible for creating and closing new revenue opportunities across our expanding portfolio of media, events, content, commerce and experiential platforms.

This is a new business development role for a proven seller who thrives on creating opportunities, building executive relationships and developing integrated marketing solutions for brands and agencies. The ideal candidate is a strategic, consultative salesperson who understands client business objectives and builds customized partnerships that deliver measurable business results.

This individual will play a key role in expanding GOLF’s current relationships with Fortune 1000 brands, media agencies and sports marketing agencies while creating new partnerships as a primary function of the role.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic business development plans to generate new revenue across GOLF and the broader 8AM Golf portfolio.

Build and manage new senior-level relationships with marketers, media agencies, sports marketing agencies and brand decision-makers.

Create integrated partnership solutions spanning digital media, social media, video, YouTube, podcasts, newsletters, print, events, hospitality and custom content.

Consistently generate qualified pipeline through proactive outreach, networking and relationship development.

Lead the sales process from prospecting through proposal development, negotiation and close.

Collaborate closely with Marketing Solutions, Editorial, Events, Product and Client Success teams to deliver innovative client programs.

Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and sales activity within Salesforce.

Represent GOLF at industry events, client meetings and key golf events throughout the year to drive new relationships and revenue.

Qualifications

Demonstrated success selling integrated media, sponsorships, events and marketing partnerships.

Established relationships across media agencies, sports marketing agencies and brand marketers.

Proven track record of independently originating, developing and closing new business, with demonstrated success building relationships with senior brand and agency decision-makers.

Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover business challenges and develop customized, outcome-oriented solutions.

Experience selling modern media platforms, including social media, YouTube, podcasts, digital content, newsletters and branded content.

A creative and entrepreneurial interest in creating new revenue streams and out of the box partnerships.

Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.

Highly organized with strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.

Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Existing knowledge of the golf industry and/or sports marketing ecosystem.

Passion for golf and an understanding of the premium consumer marketplace.

Experience selling integrated partnerships across multiple media platforms.

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will be:

A hunter who creates opportunities rather than waits for them.

A strategic, client-first seller who asks thoughtful questions before recommending solutions.

Curious, commercially minded and passionate about helping brands solve business challenges.

Comfortable selling ideas, not just media inventory.

Highly accountable, self-motivated and driven by measurable results.

Collaborative, resourceful and committed to building long-term client partnerships.

Energized by change and excited to help build the future commercial organization at GOLF.

Location & Travel

Location is flexible, with preference for candidates based in major metropolitan markets in the Southeast, Midwest or West Coast.

Regular travel required for client meetings, industry events, tournaments and company meetings in New York.

New York pay range

$150,000 — $180,000 USD
