Director, Machine Learning

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Machine Learning based in United States.

The Director, Machine Learning will build and lead the AI/ML organization supporting an advanced immigration case management platform. The role focuses on document understanding, information extraction, NLP, retrieval, and agentic automation across complex case documents and correspondence. You will scale the ML engineering organization, establish technical direction, and create the processes required to move from experimentation to reliable production delivery. You will also own critical decisions around build versus buy, model architecture, evaluation, cost optimization, and production quality. Working closely with Product, Legal Operations, Case Management, and engineering leadership, you will translate complex workflow requirements into impactful ML capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced ML leader who can combine organizational scale with deep technical expertise.
