Director of FE Engineering - SoC MCU

NXP Israel teams are working on multiple fronts of complex SoC and new technologies development, which are at the main core technologies of NXP MCU business.

We are looking for a Director of FE engineering to join the Israel SoC team in our Yokneam site and lead the RTL and DV teams which are located both in Yokneam, Israel and Noida, India.

At this position, you will be responsible for:

• •Leading the next SoC RTL and DV work with both the Israeli and Indian teams.
• •Lead all the SoC FE activities.
• •Lead external contractors worldwide which will work on the SoC FE work.
• •Manage multi-disciplined teams worldwide.
• •Oversee both managers and individual engineers, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.
• •Establish clear priorities, define objectives, and monitor task progress within an agile framework to enhance team efficiency and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

The ideal candidate should have:

• •Minimum of 20 Years' experience.
• •Knowledge in RTL and DV.
• •Knowledge of UVM and different Verification tools.
• •Experience with Cadence / Synopsys Simulator and Verification tools.
• •Experience in managing teams over multiple countries.
• •Excellent communication skills.
• •Independent and team player.
• •Experience in managing external contractors and resources which come from external companies.
• •Knowledge of ultra-low power design techniques is an advantage.
• •Knowledge of Python programing languages is an advantage.
• •Education: BsC in Electrical engineering, MsC is an advantage.
• •Proven experience hardware-software interfaces and a strong background in multi-core SoC environments.
