Director of Interior Design

The Director of Interior Design will establish and lead Thuma’s interior design practice, serving as the company’s interior design expert across Retail, Merchandising, Product Development, Brand, Creative, and B2B. This leader will help shape how customers experience our brand—from designing our most important customer projects to influencing photography, catalogs, web imagery, retail training, and new store openings.

Because this is a foundational role, no two weeks will look the same. Priorities will shift based on the needs of the business, requiring the Director of Interior Design to balance strategic leadership with hands-on design execution wherever they can have the greatest impact.

This role is ideal for an experienced interior designer who is excited to help build Thuma’s interior design capability from the ground up. The ideal candidate combines exceptional taste with a bias for execution, enjoys working cross-functionally, and is energized by bringing thoughtful design to life in ways that are both inspiring and commercially successful.
