Director of Security Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Security Operations based in the United States.

• This is a senior security leadership role responsible for the day-to-day operation and strategic evolution of an organization's security operations function.
• You will lead security professionals, strengthen detection and response capabilities, and protect critical data, systems, patients, employees, and business operations.
• The role combines technical leadership with people management, risk strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.
• You will oversee security monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security compliance activities.
• You will also evaluate emerging AI and AIOps capabilities to improve automation, log ingestion, and threat response.
• Working across teams and with senior leaders, you will establish clear priorities, remove obstacles, and drive measurable security outcomes.
• The position is fully remote and suited to a proactive, technically strong leader comfortable operating in a complex, fast-moving environment.
