We are growing our private sector business across Energy Transition & Utilities (ET&U), Consumer Products, Retail & Distribution (CPRD), Financial Services (FS) and other private sector industries. We are looking for an experienced Director to grow strategic client relationships, shape and convert major opportunities, and lead complex transformations that mobilise capabilities from across Capgemini Invent and the wider Capgemini Group.

YOUR ROLE

As part of the continued growth of our private sector business, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our market position by shaping and delivering major consulting and transformation engagements.

Our priority markets are ET&U, CPRD and FS. We also welcome applicants with relevant relationships, expertise and transformation experience from other private sector markets, such as telecommunications, media and technology, life sciences, manufacturing, automotive, transport, logistics or business services.

As a Director, you will help set the direction of our private sector business, balancing market development, account growth and opportunity conversion with the visible leadership of complex client engagements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• •Developing and growing strategic client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser to C-suite stakeholders and building a detailed understanding of their businesses, markets and priorities.
• •Building a sustainable pipeline by originating, shaping and converting major consulting and transformation opportunities, contributing to agreed sales, revenue and margin objectives.
• •Leading pursuits, proposals, presentations and commercial negotiations, bringing together relevant capabilities from across Capgemini Invent and the wider Capgemini Group.
• •Creating integrated and commercially robust solutions that combine industry insight, consulting expertise, data, AI, technology, design and engineering to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• •Growing priority accounts and identifying opportunities to broaden client relationships across Capgemini’s services.
• •Providing accountable leadership for complex engagements, balancing client value, delivery quality, commercial performance and risk management.
• •Developing propositions, market perspectives and thought leadership in response to client priorities, industry change and emerging technologies.
• •Representing Capgemini Invent through client events, industry networks, strategic partnerships and other market-facing activities.
• •Building inclusive, multidisciplinary teams through recruitment, performance leadership, coaching, sponsorship and colleague development.
• •Contributing to the leadership of the wider practice by helping to define priorities, strengthen capabilities and model Capgemini’s values and behaviours.

YOUR PROFILE

We would love to meet someone with:

• •Significant leadership experience in a recognised consulting organisation, or in a senior industry role supported by substantial consulting experience.
• •Deep experience and executive credibility in at least one relevant private sector industry, supported by an understanding of its commercial, customer, operational, regulatory and technology priorities.
• •A successful track record of originating, shaping and selling substantial consulting and transformation engagements and enabling broader opportunities across an organisation.
• •Evidence of building and sustaining C-suite relationships, supported by an established network and the ability to develop new relationships in priority markets.
• •Experience leading complex, multidisciplinary transformation programmes from strategy and design through to implementation, adoption and value realisation.
• •Strong commercial judgement, with experience of developing business cases, shaping deals, managing engagement economics and addressing contractual and delivery risk.
• •The ability to operate successfully in a matrix organisation, bring structure to ambiguity, solve complex problems and secure commitment from peers, specialists, partners and delivery teams.
• •A track record of developing propositions, building capabilities and leading diverse, inclusive and high-performing teams.

You will bring subject-matter expertise and practical experience across one or more areas of strategy, consulting and transformation. Your experience may include:

• •Corporate, portfolio, growth, commercial and go-to-market strategy.
• •Customer, product, service, sales, marketing and channel transformation.
• •Business and technology operating model design, organisation design, workforce transformation and performance improvement.
• •Enterprise transformation, complex programme leadership, implementation and value realisation.
• •Operational transformation across supply chain, manufacturing, asset management, field operations, finance or corporate functions.
• •Data, AI, cloud, enterprise architecture and technology-enabled transformation.
• •Innovation, new products and services, new business models and ecosystem development.

We do not expect applicants to bring experience across every industry or transformation area listed. We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate relevant market depth, together with the leadership, consulting and commercial experience required to help grow our private sector business.
