Director Product Definition / Product Management – Automotive Audio (f/m/d)

Key Responsibilities

• •Define and drive next-generation automotive audio products, platforms, and roadmaps.
• •Translate market requirements into clear product requirements and business cases.
• •Act as the Voice of the Customer, engaging directly with OEMs, Tier-1s, and ecosystem partners.
• •Identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and growth opportunities in automotive audio.
• •Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to define system-level solutions.
• •Lead cross-functional alignment on product strategy, priorities, and investment decisions.
• •Support development programs through key milestones and product releases.

Qualifications

• •Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Acoustics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• •10+ years of experience in automotive semiconductors, audio systems, infotainment, product management, product definition, or system architecture.
• •Strong understanding of automotive audio technologies, including DSPs, amplifiers, software, and system architectures.
• •Proven experience translating customer requirements into successful product developments.
• •Experience working directly with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
• •Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• •Semiconductor product definition experience from concept to production.
• •Knowledge of software-defined vehicles, AI-enabled audio, immersive audio, or voice technologies.
• •Understanding of automotive functional safety and cybersecurity.
• •Established relationships across the automotive audio ecosystem.
