Expectations:

Responsible for directing and coordinating all hospital volunteer activity. Develops and manages the hospital's volunteer services programs for effective utilization of volunteer resources and the achievement of the volunteer department's objectives in accordance with the hospital's goals. Fosters community involvement and liaisons to hospital guilds. Management responsibility for the Gift Shop and Huntington Collection. Supervises the volunteer department staff and has ultimate supervisory responsibility for all volunteers serving the hospital, including volunteers from other organizations. This position may require flexibility of hours.

• EDUCATION:
• BA degree in related field, i.e. behavioral sciences, business management or health or volunteer services administration.

• EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
• A minimum of 5 years of administrative or management experience in a health care institution or community organization setting.

• SKILLS:
• Demonstrated supervisory ability, effective communication and organizational skills. ‎

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $112,444.80 - $163,030.40. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
