Job Description:

• •Clean and sanitize dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and chemical concentrations to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• •Prepare items for washing by scraping and presoaking, ensuring all visible soil is removed before running through the dish machine for effective sanitization.
• •Deliver patient trays and late trays accurately and on time, following identification protocols and confidentiality policies.
• •Transport patient meal carts and bulk nourishment carts to and from nursing units, maintaining cleanliness of all carts and equipment.
• •Restock clean serviceware to designated locations using correct handling procedures, and monitor dishroom sanitation logs, chemical usage, and equipment performance to ensure compliance.
• •Other duties as assigned.

Education:

High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]

Additional Information:

Food Safety Handler Certificate preferred or as required by state

Licenses and Certifications:

Food Handler Certificate (FHC) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

• $15.45 - $24.73
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
