Position Objective: Provide support for casino Team Members so that other Back of House and Front of House Team Members can provide exceptional service to our guests.

JOB SUMMARY: Properly wash and store all dishes, pots and pans trays, eating utensils, cups, and small equipment for the department. Maintain the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• •Food Handlers permit.
• •Ability to take initiative.
• •Current knowledge of occupational safety issues.
• •Excellent interpersonal skills.
• •Possess a positive attitude.
• •Ability to stay on task.
• •Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
• •Ability to work peak business hours.
• •Ability to obtain a Class II gaming license.

Preferred skills and knowledge:

• •Six months of restaurant experience.
• •Excellent guest service skills.
• •Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
• •Ability to multi-task.
• •Ability to manage time effectively.
• •Willingness to perform a variety of tasks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• •Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
• •Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and move from area to area in the kitchen.
• •Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment.
• •Required to be able to reach with hands and arms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• •Set up and break down dish machine, including arms, screens, and baskets.
• •Clean and polish machine thoroughly, removing any paper and hosing down interior.
• •Check machine to be sure it is operating correctly and report any defects immediately.? Wash and store in proper places all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• •Check water temperature during dishwashing operation to ensure proper temperature.
• •Remove trash from dish room and place in dumpster.
• •Clean and sanitize garbage cans and keep clean liners in cans at all times.
• •Clean and keep neat dish room area including detergent storage area and belt line.
• •Keep all lowerators clean, polished, and neatly stored.
• •Perform other duties as assigned.
