Lead the enterprise Developer Experience (DevEx) strategy, architecture, and platform capabilities that enable secure, scalable, compliant software delivery across Edwards Lifesciences. Establish enterprise development standards, self-service developer platforms, DevSecOps capabilities, secure SDLC guardrails, and platform engineering services that accelerate software delivery while reducing operational risk and onboarding friction.

Applies subject-matter expertise and guidance to advance IT cloud activities and leadership decision making.

How you’ll make an impact:

• •Architect enterprise wide level cloud solutions with an automation mindset that are scalable, secure and cost effective
• •Lead Cloud Architecture and Design activities for enterprise-wide solutions and/or manufacturing and quality related solutions
• •Architect solutions with disaster recovery and high availability in mind
• •Partner with Technical Operations and other architects for Infrastructure as a code and DevOps pipeline design
• •Establish and develop procedures for Enterprise Cloud Workloads while engaging proper Enterprise level standards
• •Perform design and architecture reviews for complex cloud workloads and provide knowledge transfer to other architects
• •Manage vendor relationship and harmonize needs across all stakeholders
• •Lead Cloud Architecture and Design activities for Cloud based Product Development
• •Incidental; Provide coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer to other team members

What you'll need (Required):

• •Bachelor's Degree in related field
• •A minimum of twelve years of related experience

What else we look for (Preferred):

• •Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS
• •Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
• •Demonstrated experience with Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions
• •Demonstrated experience with AWS or Azure Architectural Patterns
• •Demonstrated experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, Automated Testing, Artifact Management, and Guardrail development
• •Java, Python or other Object-Oriented Programming and troubleshooting skills preferred
• •Proficiency with software tools for requirements management, engineering analysis, and statistical analysis.
• •Demonstrated technical project management skills on multi-year projects with multi-functional teams
• •Familiarity with container and resource management technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker
• •Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $174,000 to $246,000 (highly experienced).
