We're looking for a Drainage & Subsidence Assistant to join the Auger Team, covering Chelmsford and the surrounding areas . Our total package is worth £31,884.00 without overtime.

Financials

Starting Salary - £28,089.10

Annual Bonus - approx £2000 - £2500

5.5% Pension Contribution - approx £1484

Overtime

Optional weekend OT at 1.5x rate eg. 10 days would top up the package to £33,504.53

Working Hours

42.5hrs per week, Mon-Fri only & NO on-call work

We pay door-to-door including all driving time

Limited stay-aways, with bonuses/annual leave for more than 3 overnights per quarter

The Role

Assist our experienced Engineers to complete a variety of jobs including repairs, investigations, excavations and reinstatement works

Work effectively with other engineers in our team as required

Learn all aspects of every engineering role at Auger, including how to carry out subsidence investigations

Specialise in one area after a year, with the opportunity to progress to Junior Engineer and, with the right development and commitment, a fully qualified Engineer

Communicate proactively with our Field Operations Team at HQ

Preferred Experience

No previous experience is essential – we will provide you with all the training you need

Some experience of groundworks or preferable
